Terms of Use

These terms of use (the "Terms") govern your use of the Žymeklis system, available at zymeklis.lt (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you (the "User") confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms.

1. What the Service is

Žymeklis automatically recognizes and sorts, for organizational purposes, VMI (State Tax Inspectorate) declaration, i.MAS notification, and Registrų centras (Register of Legal Entities) power-of-attorney messages received at the User's assigned mail address, so the User can conveniently monitor them in one place.

The Service is a supporting tool for organizing data and does not by itself replace accounting or legal responsibility - the User remains responsible for properly and timely fulfilling their tax and other obligations.

2. Account

• When registering, you must provide accurate and correct information.
• You are responsible for the confidentiality of your login credentials (password) and for all activity carried out through your account.
• If you notice unauthorized access to your account, you must inform us without delay.

3. Permitted use

By using the Service, you agree not to:

• use the Service for unlawful purposes or in a way that violates the data or rights of third parties;
• attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other users' data, or the system infrastructure;
• place excessive load on the system (e.g., through automated bulk requests).

4. Data ownership

Data uploaded to or generated within the system (client lists, declaration statuses, etc.) belongs to the User. After an account is deleted, data is handled according to the retention periods set out in the privacy policy.

5. Service availability

We strive to ensure uninterrupted operation of the Service, but we do not guarantee it will run without disruptions or errors. We reserve the right to temporarily suspend the Service for maintenance or updates, notifying users in advance where possible.

6. Limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect losses arising from use of the Service, including but not limited to missed tax deadlines or disruptions to third-party services (e.g., VMI, Registrų centras) that are beyond our control.

7. Account termination

The User may stop using the Service at any time by contacting us to request account deletion. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate an account if these Terms are violated.

8. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms. We will notify users of material changes by email or via an in-system notice. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
